Forklift Training Services in Hastings

We carry out training courses for the following Forklifts:

• Counter Balance
• Reach Trucks
• Telescopic Rough Terrain
• Masted Rough Terrain

The length and cost of these courses would depend on the training ratio of instructor to candidates and obviously the experience of the candidate. When booking a course we will need to know if candidates are complete novices, slightly experienced, have held a license previously or whether they would like to convert from one type of forklift to another. This would then determine whether training is from 1 day up to 5 days long.

As an employer it is your responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Loler Regs 98 and Puwer regs 98, to provide your employees with information, instruction, training and supervision necessary, to carry out their duties safely.

Refresher training is recommended by the Health & Safety executive so as to bring your employees up to date with current legislation and to monitor any bad habits gained. Most companies refresh their staff on a 3 – 5 year basis, however you should monitor them constantly and should they not have used the equipment for some time they may also require refresher trainer.Training is carried out by ITSSAR registered instructors and can be at our premises or yours.
