GL Training Services was established in March 2007 to provide much needed accredited operator training throughout Gloucestershire and the surrounding Counties. We have identified a requirement for training on different types of forklift and handling equipment and, over the years have expanded our services adding more equipment to our capabilities and covering training on all types of mechanical handling equipment, attachments and accessories. We at GL Training Services are dedicated to giving all our clients a personal service that is second to none.
We offer training on customer site or off site at our dedicated training centre in Moreton Valence. Our facilities cater for both companies and individuals who have a desire to improve their opportunities and add to their qualifications. Training carried out in our training centre can include on-site familiarisation on clients own equipment, ensuring all operators are fully conversant with equipment they will be using on a daily basis.
Our Instructors are all ITSSAR accredited and have many years hands-on experience in both the manufacturing and distribution industries. They have in excess of 50 years combined training experience between them. All training carried out by GL Training Services complies with current HSE Regulations so you can be confident that you will comply with your legal obligations under the Legislation.
GL Training Services is fully accredited to ITSSAR and successful candidates gain a nationally recognised qualification. Candidates are registered under the Mandatory TOPS Operator Registration Scheme giving them a unique registration number that will stay with them throughout their careers.
We offer flexible operator training to suit customer workload. Training times can include various shift patterns and weekends as required. Each of our courses is tailored to suit individual companies and their candidates.
Following training you are not out on your own, if you have any questions or queries, we are on the end of the phone and more than happy to give expert advice and guidance on all aspects of MHE operating and safe operating procedures for un-trained personnel, managers and supervisors who may not be trained.

Training On All Types Of Forklift Truck Provided By GL Training Services – Novice, Experienced, Conversion And Refresher Courses
Novice courses are aimed at people who have never been on a forklift before or have had very little experience.
Experienced courses are suitable for candidates that have had considerable pervious experience without any formal training.
Conversion courses are suitable for people previously qualified on a different type of truck e.g. qualified on Counter Balance and want to convert to Reach truck.
Refresher is suitable for candidates who have received formal training previously and are regular operators.
