Every year approximately 8000 forklift truck accidents are reported to the HSE, a staggering amount , this figure represents 25% of all workplace accidents ie. 1 in 4 workplace accidents involve a forklift truck. These accidents come in many forms , from damage to equipment and materials to minor injuries, serious injuries and even death to operators and employees. In the vast majority of cases operator error is to blame. It is the responsibility of the Employer to provide effective training for their FLT operators under PUWER1998 and HSAWA 1974, this will increase safety and minimise the risk of accident whilst also improving the efficiency of the operator.

Counterbalance forklift truck training is one of the most sought after and popular forklift truck training courses that we offer.
The counterbalance forklift training course teaches the candidates to safely operate the forklift to industry standards.
Counterbalance forklift trucks are only suitable for use on firm, level ground or a prepared surface. There are many different types of attachments for the forklift arms and we ensure our forklift training service covers all these aspects.
Industrial Reach Truck
Industrial reach truck forklift training is another one of our popular forklift training courses. With a reach truck the motion comes from the mast moving forward or reaching out to pick up the load In a space that is restricted these forklift trucks are especially useful as the load can be retracted and carried within the base of the wheels.
In spaces such as warehouses the load can be manoeuvred easily with an industrial reach truck and is suitable on dry, even and smooth ground. Our industrial reach truck training is comprehensive and covers all aspects necessary providing the trainee with the certificate and identification cards.

Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler
Telescopic materials handler forklift truck training courses are essential for the safe operation within a working environment. The telescopic forklift truck comes with a boom that is based at the rear of the truck and extends out over the top of the hood of the machine. The hydraulic rams at the back of the forklift allow the telescopic extension or retraction of the load over the top of the forklift to give extra reach or height for the operator.
These particular forklift trucks are available in four and two wheel drive and two or four wheel steering with crab steering capabilities. There are a range of attachments available on the telescopic forklift truck as they are mainly used within the agriculture and the construction industry. All our trained operators are given a certificate and id card once we have completed our telescopic handler forklift truck training course.
Narrow Aisle
Narrow Aisle forklift truck training provides an essential service to modern day warehousing operations. Using a narrow aisle forklift truck greatly increases the number of aisles that be introduced into a warehouse fitting in aisles as small as six feet. The forklift truck industry uses two types of classification on these forklifts to describe them and they are: very narrow aisle forklifts and narrow aisle forklifts.
One of the biggest distinguishing factors with these forklift trucks are that their forklift arms are used to turn round at a right angle to the main base of the aisle truck. This mechanism allows the forklift driver to pick up the load from the side whilst maintaining the space available.
Sideloader
Side-loading forklift trucks are particularly useful in certain situations. To one side at the front of the machine the operator is positioned and can overlook the load they are carrying easily. The mast of the forklift is position outwards to collect the load or place it down.
Sometimes these are fitted with stabilisers and all our sideloader forklift truck training courses cover these areas. These are especially useful for example in agriculture where the bailing of hay is essential alongside other daily tasks.

Pivot steer forklift truck training is an innovative design within the forklift truck sector and is widely used across the spectrum. Our forklift truck training ranges from novice right through to refreshing the already experienced. It is essential for the operators to be proficiently educated on all the relevant parts of the machine and handling. Our pivot steer forklift truck training course will cover all aspects and will also provide the trainee with a certificate and I.D card . You or your employees will be trained on :
- How to stack and unload whilst using the forklift truck in a safe and correct manner.
- How to ensure the the stability of the pivot steer forklift truck is maintained whilst carrying a load.

Our pedestrian and ride on platform pallet truck training courses are to provide the candidate with the knowledge and comprehensive understanding required to operate the truck safely and professionally within the environment it is to be used in. The pedestrian controlled forklift truck course shows the trainees the many factors that are involved in the safe handling of these machines.

Mobile Elevating Work Platform
MEWPs are powered machines that provide a safe temporary work platform for people and their tools to conduct work at height. In other words, ‘MEWP’ is the industry term used to describe machines that you may currently know as Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts, Access Platforms or Aerial Platforms.
